The City of Wapello is requesting sealed Statement of Qualifications(SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Construction Management at Risk(CMaR) services for Construction Services of a New 15,280 Sq.Ft. Post Frame Fire Station, located in Wapello, IA. This RFQ is for CM services during both the pre- construction and construction phases of the project. Work may include, but is not limited to, design review, planning, scheduling, cost estimating, life-cycle cost-engineering, value-engineering, constructability reviews, construction sequencing, site logistics, and the CM serving as Constructor.
Submittals are due by 4:00PM, November 27, 2024 via email to the attention of: Mike Delzell at clerk@wapelloia.gov. Late submittals will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to (1) reject any or all SOQs, (2) postpone award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (90) days from the date of SOQ submittal, (3) waive informalities in the RFQ/SOQ, or (4) select the CM which appears to be in the best interest of the City. All Submitters are required to comply with State of Iowa Public Bidding Requirements and carry Performance and Payment Bonds for all work.
